Week 1 - Travelling Japan
Departure from the United States.
Tokyo (3 days):
Arrival in Japan
Visit the Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street, Tokyo SkyTree, Tenbo Galleria, Shibuya Hachiko, and Shibuya Crossing
Spend a day at Tokyo Disneyland
Departure
Kyoto and Nara (2 days):
Arrival in Kyoto, then travel to Nara
Visit Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine
Return to Kyoto
Visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple, and Kyoto Imperial Palace
Departure
Hiroshima and Miyajima Island (2 days):
Arrival in Hiroshima, then travel to Miyajima Island
Visit Itsukushima Jinja Shrine
Return to Hiroshima
Visit Peace Memorial Park, Peace Memorial Museum, Atomic Bomb Dome
Departure
Week 2 - Ichikikushikino (7 days)

Arrival in Kagoshima, travel to Ichikikushikino
Meetup with host families
Week spent with host families, participating in family activities
Meet Ichikikushikino mayor
Attend Sister City dinner, including dance performance by Student Ambassadors
Visit Ichikikushikino elementary and high schools,
Participate in Ichikikushikino festival parade
Departure for the United States
